General coding attributes

the focus flow brain

I have done lots of different designs and projects through out my react journey. Primaliry focusing on animations and creating visually appealing frontend projects, then making development time efficient and planning user experience. I have also spent time learning how to enhance performace of websites with dynmaic and lazy loading.

My animations on all of my apps are done with framer motion, I've done multiple types of animations likeanimating when inView or based of scrolling. I have also done sequenced based animating to make my apps retain attention and stand out.

Other experience

Here are some other experiences that have helped me in my journey

10 Years of competitive basketball

A picture of me dunking like a real one

All throughout school I played competitve basektball. This taught me dedication, teamwork and how to perform under pressure. Once basketball ended I took all of that energy into coding and it has turned out great.

2 years of computer science at Dalhousie university

A logo of dalhousie university

I did two years of computer science at dalhousie. I learned the fundamentals of programming there. After the second year I determined it would be the correct decision to drop out and fully persue one programming framework and I chose react. For me it was absolutely the correct decision I am glad I did it.

Focused and ready to work

Here are some of my general attributes that make me someone you want on your team

Fast worker and strong focus

I am a very focused individual, who's life revolves around producing valuable difficult to replicate work. This commitment of 3-4 hours a day of deep work allows me to produce websites and work at a quick rate. I truly enjoy working and improving my skills to become the best I can be.

Always learning

I have many intrests and have always had a desire to learn why things are the way they are, this has lead me to reading 60+ books across various subjects like human physcology, quantum phyiscs, neuroscience fitness and much more. I hope to one day be able to combine these various subjects together to make some cool and useful stuff

Very dedicated and consistent

What ever I have committed myself to in my life, I have spent a significant amount of effort into improving at it, wether it was 10 years of competitive basketball, drawing fitness or making websites I have always given lots of effort and make significant improvement and I will do the same in your company.,

High energy and endurance

Through a lifetime of commitment to intense physical training, I have developed a high work capacity and have been toughened up through injury which helps me keep pushing through work when times get tough. This allows me to be consistent and perform in tough situations which will help produce more work on in the long run.

An image of the sun to signify creativity

A creative individual

Creativity is simply connecting things through exposing myself to various subjects and infueneces I am able to string together unique ideas and can always think of a project to get to work on. Also through reverse engineering and emulating influences and ideas I like, I can combine different ideas together to create something new.

The dollar sign to signify the strive for greatness

Strive for greatness

Whatever the situation I'm in, I will always strive for the best outcome and do whatever it takes to get it done. I truly want to become better everyday and will train hard to prove this. There is always room to improve and more work to do and will show up everyday and do my best.

Lessons from books

I have read approximately 60 books over the years and have learned a lot of valuable information which I apply daily, here are some of my most impactful books I have read so far

The book deep work by Cal newport

The second book I ever read and perhaps the most inflential and eye opening book I read, this book taught me the value of focused work and how to structure my days to get a lot of work done. This book caused me to structure my life to get 3-4 hours of deep work everyday which I still do to this day and have been doing so for 3 years now.

The book Mastery by Robert Greene

This book was very inspiring to me as it lays the foundations for becoming at master at your craft. It highlights the different phases a master goes through and challenges throughout the journey and how to overcome them. The book also describes how to find your purpose through your work which resonated very well with me.

Atomic Habits by James Clear

The book Atomic Habits taught me the importance of delayed gratification and how greatness takes time and results don't show up until you hit a certain breaking point, so just focus on the process. It also taught me how to design my environment for success.

Decoding Greatness by Ron Freidman

The book decoding greatness was very eye opening to me on how great creations are really just connecting different things together in a new way. It taught me how you can reverse engineer anything then apply it in your own way to achieve anything you want. I use reverse engineering a lot with my websites and that is one of the ways I learned to make websites, by going to popular websites like Apple and emulating their components that I found appealing.
